Why store with us ?

If you need storage, you will be hard pressed to find a remover with storage facilities that offer a more secure and safe environment for your precious effects.  Built in 2000, our warehouse and office complex was designed and built to our own high specification.  Sited on the secure 'Fareham Reach' estate, the complex has its own high security/ alarm system.  Protecting our customers interests 24 Hours a day, every day.

Being fully containerised, your effects are kept safely within our 'in-house' designed and built containers.  This minimises the risk of;  loss, damage, ingress of dust, moth etc.  There really is no better way to store your effects than in a containerised warehouse.  Every consignment is carefully inventoried before the effects are placed in the container and a note of the condition is also made.  Copies of the inventory are provided to our customers as a receipt for their effects and as a record of the condition.

The nominal size of the containers is 7' x 5' x7', (about the size of a garden shed).  This gives a capacity of approx. 250 Cubic Feet (over 7 Cubic Meters).  Every container is index marked for security and for retrieval.  The containers can be loaded directly into our containerised vehicles for loading to or from our warehouse.  This also minimises the risks of moving and storing domestic effects.  It also reduces the cost of moving as the furniture is handled less.

Security

Security and confidentiality are of paramount importance to us.  We assure all of our customers of our confidentiality and therefore, total piece of mind.  No information regarding any client is disclosed other than to our client directly.  Remember that we provide insurance cover for your effects from the time we call to collect your effects, for the entire duration of the storage and the subsequent delivery of the effects to your new home, anywhere World-wide. 

How long can we store your effects and what can we store??

Our minimum charge is just one week. The maximum? well, that's up to you. We have clients with effects in storage from the 1960s!  

Most normal domestic effects are easily stored.  You should obviously avoid any perishable items, flammables, corrosives, plants, gasses or liquids should not be presented for storage.  Any remover who does accept these items could well be placing YOUR effects in jeopardy.   Electrical goods such as Televisions, Hi-Fi's, Computers, Microwave ovens, fridges and freezers, all store easily.  Fridges and freezers need some special preparation and we are happy to advise as required.  Also Piano's do store well.  They will of course need re-tuning after delivery because of the handling and changes in temperature and humidity in the removal vehicle and store.
