Overseas

Associations and Guarantees

  • We are members of the National and Overseas Group of the British Association of Removers (BAR) and we are bonded under the IMMI (International Movers Mutual Insurance) 'Pre payment guarantee scheme' for all domestic consignments.  This ensures that once payment has been made to ship overseas, you receive your goods exactly as pre agreed in the contract and at no extra cost.

Financial Protection

  • We can provide protection for your domestic goods every step of the way, even if your possessions are placed in storage at the destination *Note; this varies for some destinations .  We can simply extend our normal trading terms to provide you with extensive protection for your goods from door to door.  We also carry comprehensive insurance to further protect you in the event of a major problem.  Your piece of mind is assured.

Services

If time and speed of delivery vital, we can organise to have your goods sent by air freight, taking care they are suitably packed.  We hold 'KNOWN SHIPPER' status for security checking of consignments prior to Air Freight.  This can save costly delays for time critical consignments and also minimised the likelihood of the consignment being held for further inspection at the air terminal

We can offer you a groupage container service (where other similar shipments share space to a single country or destination) and save you money.  Should you have a large consignment, we can also offer a 'dedicated' container service, where you have the entire container to yourself.  In this instance, we usually prefer to bring the container to your home to load and then customs seal it at your door.  The container is then shipped direct from your home/ premises, under bond up to the point of arrival and sometimes to the delivery point .


We can also usually arrange customs clearance  for you (you will need to have your consignment cleared through customs if you are taking goods outside of the EEC).  We offer advice wherever possible and can help with the completion of the necessary documents.

For complete peace of mind, we can arrange for a destination agent to take care of your property right up to its delivery at the new address.  For DOMESTIC consignments we have packed in the UK, they will unpack your possessions at your new home, as well as clearing all of the residual materials.

In case there is a delay in your move, or if you don't want all your property sent to your new destination, ask about our storage facilities This service can usually be provided in the UK or at destination.

Shipping Cars/Motorcycles

If you are shipping cars or motorcycles overseas, we can assist with the associated paperwork and provide you with 'costed' options. Normally we would crate ALL motorcycles for shipment in a *bespoke* crate.  Cars are shipped within our 20 ft container service, ensuring security and safety of you vehicle to any destination worldwide.
